Flowtest is the TCR Tecora Digital Stack Gas Velocity and Flow Meter
The Precision Measuring – Data Logger model Flowtest is dedicated to gas velocity, volumetric flow rate determination, and isokinetic measurements in stack
The instrument is housed in a compact and lightweight case; easy to set up and operate. It measures the gas velocity and
temperature through a Pitot tube and a thermocouple.
Thanks to a powerful microprocessor, it provides instantaneous calculation of the fluid-dynamic parameters displaying the specified parameters of the on-going measuring on a wide alphanumeric display.
An easy to use autoguided program is provided for the following measurements:
Flow rate measurement;
Constant flow sampling.
The measuring probe is realized in temperature and corrosion proof AISI 316 stainless steel.
It incorporates an “S” type Pitot tube and a thermocouple, that are protected and kept together by a graduated tube of 700 or 1300 mm standard useful length.
Sampling point determination in duct;
Stack condition and normalized flow rate measuring in duct;
Memorization of gas velocity and temperature average values for successive printing, and data transferring to PC with presetting average intervals;
Isokinetic condition calculation with continuous visualization of the sampling flow rate;
Nozzle diameter determination to fit with the characteristics of the duct and the sampling unit;
Memorization of all the measured flow rates and/or of the isokinetic samplings, based even on a complex sampling point;
Calculation of the theoretical air volume of an isokinetic sampling to compare it with the measured air volume, and so to evaluate the isokinetic condition during the sampling;
RS 232 interface for memorized data transferring to a printer or a PC that gives a report of each samplings. Hundreds of sampled data can be logged with guarantee of no data lost, even in case of total battery exhaustion;
Power supply by rechargeable NiCd batteries and/or by 220V or external batteries for long period monitoring.
